You come in a dreamy town, beautifully situated between 7 valleys in the middle of the Thuringian Forest.
We have set up the apartment so that you don't have to do without anything here. Everything is available and if something should be missing, we are always happy to help.
You are here in a hiking paradise. Just a few steps and you have reached the edge of the forest. Numerous hiking trails lead you criss-cross, uphill and downhill through this wonderful forest. Our old dam surprises with the deep blue-green color of its water. Once you have climbed the dam to the new dam, you will be rewarded with a breathtaking view of the country.
The rush of a lively brook often accompanies you on your way. Sit down and listen to what it tells you. Breathe deeply the spicy air. All of this penetrates the soul and releases all stress from you.
As sleepy as our little town seems, it awakens to turbulent life on a few days a year. There we have the city and marksman festival and the festival of our medieval association. Particularly noteworthy is the white water rafting in August and the weekend on which the big dam concert takes place.
