Our small alp is easily accessible in summer, but is situated in a quiet and unspoilt landscape with views of the mountains, the Entlebuch and the Mittelland, about 15 minutes by car from the village centre. In summer our cows and calves graze on the pastures. In autumn you can see the sea of fog from above. In winter, you may well have to walk part of the way there. The room with double bed is fully equipped, the room with single bed and bunk bed has fixed sheets and pillows - bring your own sleeping bag or blankets. The Birbäumli is suitable for people who appreciate nature and are looking for peace and simplicity. And yet you can be in Lucerne, Bern or Zurich in just over an hour by car or public transport. Watch your head... some of the rooms are only 1.80 metres high. Firewood is included for the stove in the house. The wood for the fire bowl costs Fr. 10.00 per cup and is paid for on site.
