After a 22-minute train ride or 15 minutes by car (13 km) you can visit the island of Lindau with its charming old town centre and narrow streets. The beautiful city of Bregenz in Austria, which is 32 minutes by car (33 km) away, is known for its diverse cultural offerings and beautiful landscape. The Lake Constance region offers numerous great hiking and cycling trails through picturesque landscapes and along the lake shore. In winter you can even ski within a radius of 30 minutes by car (30 km) or across the nearby Austrian or Swiss border.
