The chalet received its name from Rome, in 1870, when it was still a hostel. In 2008/2009 the house was completely renovated and adapted to current standards. The pristine wilderness of the forest and the nature reserve Valley of the Kingfishers makes this 5-bedroom holiday home in Bad Stuer a great choice. Ideal for a group of 10 or several families with children, it comes with a private garden and a barbecue to enjoy the summer evenings.
The location of the house is ideal: close to the lake, located on the edge of the forest and an atmospheric stream flowing through it. At the bridge over the creek begins the Valley of the Kingfishers nature reserve. Behind the house you will find the dirt wall in which the kingfishers build their nests. You will reach a number of fish ponds via the Eisvogel valley. Trout can be caught here in summer and winter and there is a snack bar serving food and drink. Plau am See is the nearest town (9 km). In Plau you will find a new promenade, many restaurants, 4 large supermarkets and many shops. There are many hiking and biking trails in the lake district and Bad Stuer is at the crossroads of trails leading to various lakes. Central Berlin can be reached in 1.5 hours by car, as can the Baltic coast near Warnemünde.
