A small supermarket with fresh rolls every day and everyday needs is 50 meters away, a large Sky supermarket can be reached in 3 minutes by car. Restaurants and a seawater swimming pool can also be reached after 50 meters. Kiel-Schilksee is about 15 minutes by car from the city center. But there are also bus connections and a line with small passenger ships to the main train station. Along the Kiel Fjord there are umpteen localities right on the water, beer gardens and many restaurants and pubs.
