The house is on the outskirts of Steffeln, with direct access to several attractive hiking trails.

The house was completed in the spring of 2011 as a complete new build. It was built with a wood frame, with modern insulation and an open layout, exuding a pleasant and homely atmosphere. It is also a low-energy house that meets the latest ecological residential standards. It is fully-furnished and provides everything you need for a pleasant stay. The solid beams and wooden ceiling give the house a special flair. There is an open living room and kitchen in one big room. If the temperamental Eifel weather should strike, you can make yourselves comfortable in front of the wood-burning stove. Wood is provided. A sofa, armchairs, a radio and TV are also provided. The living room has a great view over the volcanic landscape and the volcanic garden, as well as the locality. The fully-equipped, modern kitchen provides plenty of space for cooking and spending time together. It has a ceramic hob and oven, a fridge with a freezer compartment and a dishwasher. Wooden stairs lead to the upper floor. All the rooms are laid with tiles or laminate flooring and have under-floor heating. The house has three separate bedrooms and can accommodate two to six people. The lower floor has a double bedroom with an adjoining terrace. Two further bedrooms on the upper floor make this house attractive for families. The ground-floor bedroom has a double bed, while the other two upstairs each have two single beds. You will enjoy a good night’s sleep in these comfortable rooms. The bathroom has modern fittings and has a bath, a barrier-free shower, a WC, a big washbasin and a washing machine. A sauna awaits you in the house as a little highlight, which you can share use of free of charge. Fresh bath, hand and kitchen towels are provided, as well as bed linen.

The generous terrace by the living room provides grill facilities and a lovely view of the volcanic landscape of the Eifel, inviting you to enjoy leisurely summer evenings outdoors. There are parking spaces right in front of the holiday house. Pets are not allowed.

The wonderful landscape of the Eifel is ideal for relaxing and also has a lot to offer those interested in sports activities. There is a wide and well-signposted network of cycling and hiking trails stretching throughout the Eifel. As the Eifel weather can sometimes be a little temperamental, there are also many trips suitable in bad weather. The two towns of Prüm and Gerolstein are about a 15-minute drive away and provide a range of shops, restaurants and leisure facilities. You can go on day trips to larger cities like Cologne or Trier, or to neighbouring Luxembourg. They are easy to get to with good transport connections.
