Summary: Brilliant location, good room, good value for money as we only paid GBP 98 for a night for two adults being a Sunday night. The generous amount of coffee capsules (4+1 decaf) was super generous for Europe. If only the wash basin in the bathroom was usable. The drain was blocked and required waiting between uses. As we only stayed one night leaving early in the morning, we reported the issue to house keeping on our way out. Shower was not as good as other places in Switzerland that we stayed, but quite ok. Other comments are: The electronic self check in means that you can only start checking in at 2, and you need to enter your details including passport number etc. I can imagine a queue in the busier seasons as there is only one single terminal for check in. Also, since there is one person running the cafe, they were quite pressured for time between making drinks, serving and answering the inevitable questions from guests trying to check in. Plug points could be more convenient location wise. If the bed was raised style, the bottom of bed could house luggage and make it within reach of vacuum cleaner. Consider a fold out table above the bench and adding a mini fridge. I will consider the hotel for next stay.
