The property, a four-sided courtyard from 1726, is located in the historic center of Flörsheim-Dalsheim, one of the most beautiful places in Rheinhessen. Ideal for lovers of the flair and charm of yesteryear. We acquired this property in 2015 and lovingly renovated it with a lot of dedication. We placed special emphasis on using only traditional materials and preserving as much as possible in the historical style. For example, only lime plaster was used for plastering the ceilings and walls, and then lime paint as a coat of paint. The old building material, lime, does what the new, modern building materials cannot do, it regulates the air humidity excellently and breaks down pollutants in a very natural way. This significantly improves the indoor climate. The windows of the apartment building were made from oak according to an old template. The floors have been revised, e.g. T. re-laid in oak and then re-coated with a biologically harmless coat of hard wax oil. The traditional tiled stoves are still in operation. A new gas heating system was added, which supplies all rooms in the house with heat via tubular radiators. These radiators mainly emit pleasant radiant heat, so little convection of the room air, advantageous for allergy sufferers. The two-storey house has over 200 m² of living space, is eaves to the street and is closed by a gable roof. A Rheinhessen gatehouse with good proportions is attached. All guest rooms are on the first floor, accessible by stairs from the courtyard. Also interesting are the spacious outbuildings (barn, horse, pig and cowshed) and the old wine cellar, which we would be happy to show you on a tour.
