Just a 10 min walk from Piazza Goldoni - one of the main central squares of Trieste and a 15-20 min walk from from Piazza della Borsa and Piazza Unità d'Italia - the breathtaking central square facing the Adriatic Sea. Supermarkets, shops, bars, cafes nearby. Getting Around: Trieste is a very walkable city, but if you prefer to use public transportation bus stops are just a few minutes away. Less than a 10 min ride from the Train Station. Nearby places to visit: Venice (1h30min by train/car), Ljubljana (1h by bus/car), the Friuli wine region (40min), the Slovenian coastal towns of Piran and Portorose (40min) and the Croatian peninsula of Istria (1h).
